How I treated my eye infection naturally

Yes, eye infections can be highly contagious and I am not saying "don't go to the doctors", no. I am just simply sharing holistic remedies that I have used on myself before.
1. I used an eye rinse saline solution that comes with an eyewash glass cup. It is made with an euphrasia plant, commonly known as eyebright. Varieties of this family are traditionally utilised to treat inflammed and sensitive eyes, but also to moisterize dry eyes. There is also aloe vera in it, which is known for it's healing properties and can even repair DNA cells.
2. I applied a medical iodine solution around the eye, so only on the skin, NOT in the eye directly.
3. After the iodine solution, I applied castor oil on top (I have a bottle that I previously mixed with a low solution of blackseed oil nigella sativa). And that is how I went to sleep. Castor oil is a potent penetrator and breaks up inflammation. You'll wake up with alot of white gunk coming out of your eye.
4. As with any infection, I took my oregano "antibiotics". So 2- 4 drops diluted with 10ml pumpkin seed oil, swallowed with water 30min before a meal. And a binder (activated charcoal, or bentonite clay etc) before going to sleep. And I continue taking it even after the infections is gone, as a precautionary measure.
The next remedies are abit more hardcore, so just giving you a headsup...
5. I cut onions and held the plate close to my face to draw out the infection. Tears are flowing and so is the white gunk. Then I took a detox bath with baking soda, epsom salt and added boiled ginger and clove tea. I put my head underwater and kept my eyes open. This relieved me of this itching sensation in my eyes and after the bath, the swelling was completely gone and my eye looked normal again (except for the bloodshot veins). However, ofc that effect is only temporary and I had to keep the regimen going for 2 more days to completely get rid of the infection. During that time I stayed home and didn't touch anyone, I also made sure to keep my face towel seperate from the others.
This is how I mainly continued:
6. I applied medicinal koohl on my waterline. You need a high quality medicinal koohl, that is made from either burned cloves, white peppercorns, date pits, olive seeds or other natural ingredients. You do not want to buy the koohl for beautification that is made solely from the mineral stone. There are 2 types in Morocco; the medicinal one is usually sold in a small glass container with a red cap, whereas the one for beautification has a white cap. The koohl will sooth the itching sensation and bind the gunk. You'll have to keep cleaning your eye and switch btw koohl and moisterising with castor oil. Btw do not use the applicator, otherwise you would have to throw it away afterwards. Instead, take a small amount and apply it with a clean finger.
There is 1 more remedy that I know of, but haven't personally tried: a potatoe poultice with freshly grated potatoe wrapped in a cotton towel and placed on the closed eye. Potatoe is astringend and draws out the infection. But I haven't tried that yet, so I cannot recommend it to you.
The eye infection was gone after 3 days.
