A caloric deficit won't fix that protruding belly

Updated: 3 days ago
If you excercise and eat healthy, yet you still have that little pooch that sometimes bloats into a full-blown pregnancy bump, then a caloric deficit probably won't fix your problem, in fact it often makes it worse for women. The reason for that is bcs many women have hormonal bellyfat. Wanna know whether your bellyfat falls under that category? Then watch this Youtube playlist:
The thing with hormonal bellyfat is that it starts acting like an organ that sends out hormones, which then disrupt your hormonal system and makes your health worse. But, don't hate on your body for that, bcs SubhanAllah it develops this type of fat in order to protect your organs, bcs when you have excess cortisol, estrogen and toxins in your system, your body tries to keep those away from your organs, protecting them by storing it around your midsection in the form of hormonal bellyfat. You can watch Dr Mindy Pelz her videos for more in-depth info: https://youtu.be/l7IiUkn_WWw?si=uEW13sTi-LLMVS8s
So, this info is already the first clue to reducing hormonal body fat, which is to lower cortisol. If you overtrain, or stress your body out with HIIT training or other stressful physical activities then that is absolutely counterproductive. Instead, I would focus on lots of walking and controlled weighttraining (for example 4x/week, with only 4 excercises, 2 sets with 8-10 reps).
Whenever you feel stressed, try to move your body, bcs that is the most efficient way to use up cortisol. Literally, the worst thing you can do when feeling stressed, is to slouch down in a chair and scroll reels on your phone. Instead jump around, tap your body and move in any way possible until you find your chest calming down. Breathing excercises are also highly effective in lowering cortisol.
Sleep is also essential in reducing stress on the cells. Women that are sleep-deprived often accumulate fat, especially around the midsection and the same goes for going to sleep super hungry or too full, undereating, skipping breakfast or eating meals that are not nutritious enough. Yes, all of these bad eating habits can give you that lower belly pooch.
As for estrogen... I find it a bit more complicated to "balance" this hormone with progesterone. But basically, fibres help to flush out excess estrogen of your system. Most efficiently works broccoli and its sprouds bcs of the indole-3-carbinol (I3C) and sulforaphane, which helps the liver to break down the estrogen. Flaxseeds were also very popular until recently, but now we are seeing studies that suggest that they actually worsen high estrogen-levels, so I'd see and observe how well your body fares with it.
As for progesterone, our happy femininity hormone, for that you have to ovulate, so that means you absolutely need insulin-spikes (yes!). This means, you definitely don't want to do any low-carb diets during ovulation, bcs you desperately need them! There is a reason why our appetite goes up during ovulation and we crave carbs, don't punish your body for communicating it's needs to you and eat that heavy meal, sis.
Another huge factor is posture! I notice so many people walking around with a hip tilt. You can see it when the feet are not straight on the floor but pronate inwards. Most of the time it starts with tight and weak hip reflexors that cause the knees to cave in and then the feet become excessively pronated (you can see it in the flattening of the natural footarch). Like a chain reaction the hips become tight and you get an anterior hip tilt. This makes your belly protrude and your organs aren't properly kept in place, which can give you issues with your bladder and stomach and also causes lower back pain over time. Furthermore, it weakens your pelvic floor muscles and abdomen muscles, like your TVA. On a grand scale it also makes your bellyfat worse. So apart from training your muscles, a quick fix is to improve your posture right now:

1. Starting with your feet. Don't point your toes outward, make sure they point straight ahead and your feet are parallel to each other. And slightly tug your big toes to your heels into the ground, this will activate your muscles that form your natural foot arch.
2. Then make sure your knees are not completely straight but slightly bend, so you stand kinda relaxed "in" your knees so that you could easily bounce like on a skateboard. Look at your knees, are they caving inwards? If yes, then push them outwards until your knees look straight forward, while making sure your feet are not turning alongside but rather remain straight and parallel to each other.
3. Your hips. Imagine they are a bowl filled with water and you want to make sure nothing spills. Your belly button must NOT point downwards but instead point straight ahead. Imagine you tuck your tailbone forward and up, and your ripcage is being tucked inward in the opposite direction. This pattern is way more effective to enage your core, rather than just "sucking in" your belly button, bcs that will get painful real quick and can give you bladder issues.
4. Raise up your chest, bcs you chest helps to bakance your new center of gravity. Lastly, relax your shoulders down and slightly tuck in your chin.
I know it sounds complicated, but if you do that long enough, it will become your natural posture and your belly will look much more attractive. Especially since bad posture can cause lymphatic fluid to gather around your belly area and become stagnant, which makes you look 10 times fatter. I actually mean this in a literal sense! Bcs our lymphatic system doesn't operate with a pump. So the lymph gets moved through your body's movement, and little movement and bad posture leads to stagnant lymph. Here's how you can support your lymph flow:

- tapping
- jumping
- herbal foot soaks
- legs up the wall
- fascia release
- cupping
- gua sha
Plus, there is actually such a thing as lymphatic drainage massage and specifically for the belly. This type of massage actually has an immediate effect and when you stay consistent with it, your belly will be significantly smaller.
The next thing is waist training, which really helps with your posture improvement. But listen sis, a waistrainer is NOT a corset, so stop using it like one. The point of a waist trainer is to sit snug, so as to remind yourself to engage your core muscles. It is NOT to cinch your waist. My protip is to put castoroil on your belly, bcs this oil penetrates deeply into your issue and breaks up inflammation, yes even cysts and fibroids and it heals your skin from blemishes and stretchmarks. Then put a cotton wrap on your abdomen and the waistrainer on top (comfortable, not super tight). Wear it, when you are not super full and maybe when you have to get some work done at your desk and sit for a longer period of time.
This leads me to my last point; fibroids. 70% of women have fibroids and they can also be the culprit for your bloating and protruding belly. Treatment is redlight directly on your abdomen and castor oil packs.
Alot of info, but if you can practise these steps, then you can get your feminine belly back. Btw a natural moon shape (cute) pooch at your lower belly is perfectly normal and a sign of healthy fertility. Don't compare yourself with those covert transgender celebrities. Part of the satanic agenda is to inverse the genders and confuse people with how an actually female and male body looks like. Female hips are a decisive difference in the human anatomy that can be seen even on the bone structure level. We can never achieve the same flat V-shaped bellies as men and if we try to get those flat hard bellies then we will most certainly also lose our fertility alongside it. So stay healthy and sane, sis 🤗
